OKTAHA

I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This is my 14^th year of teaching. The first five years I taught at Checotah Public Schools. This is my 8^th year at Oktaha.

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have always loved teaching, because I know the children are enthusiastic and curious about school. My goal is to challenge your child to reach their full learning potential and share my love of learning! It is a tremendous responsibility to teach your child and a privilege I will not take lightly. I feel it is important for each of us to be partners in the children’s educational journey. I encourage you to help your child at home, as well as keep in touch with me. I know with your help, we will have an outstanding year! 

I got married to Kyle Sallee in April of 2014. He is an Oktaha graduate. We have two beautiful sons, Hunter and Gunner. Hunter will be a 1^st grader at Oktaha, and Gunner is 3 years old. He will be at Oktaha next school year. We are blessed to be their parents! In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends, go to church, sing in the choir at church, hunting, and shopping.
