Spanish I

Students will learn basic communication in Spanish, including exchanging names, asking how someone is or where something is located, etc. They will be able to identify basic colors and numbers to 1,000. They will give and respond to various commands. Students will be able to identify and locate Spanish-speaking countries on a world map and gain knowledge and understanding of other cultures. They will be able to read, understand and create elementary-level Spanish. They will analyze and apply verbs in the present tense.
