I graduated from Muskogee High School. I attended Connors State College and graduated with a Business degree. After Connors State College, I attended Northeastern State University and graduated with a degree in Spanish Education. Previously I taught Spanish I, II & III at Hilldale Public Schools from 2003 to 2019. I am enjoying my years at Oktaha Public Schools, the opportunity to teach Spanish I, II, III & IV, and learning what it means to be a TIGER.
I currently have an Associates degree in Business and a Bachelors in Spanish Education.
This is my fifth year at Oktaha Public Schools. I am teaching Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, and Intro to Spanish JH. I hope to add a Spanish IV. I am so excited to be an Oktaha Tiger!
Previously, I taught Spanish at Hilldale Public Schools. I also was the Spanish Club and Teens For Christ sponsor. I directed and taught the Hilldale Enrichment Program for grades 2-6.
I am married to Billy DeLay. We have two children, Tiffany DeLay Sanders and Brayden DeLay.and one grandchild, Christian Sanders.
Tiffany DeLay Sanders teaches 3rd grade at Muskogee Irving Elementary, and my grandson, Christian, is in 8th grade at Oktaha Middle School.
My son, Brayden DeLay attends Oktaha and is in the 9th grade.
We have two family dogs named Troubador and Winston.
I love to read, swim, and hang out with my family. I’m interested in Art, especially Hispanic, and I enjoy visiting Art museums. I love education and teaching.
