Class Procedures

 Classroom Procedures

 

1. Be on time and prepared. Have all needed materials with you and be in your seat when the bell rings. 
 
2. Be respectful of others. There will be no talking when someone else is reading or talking. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANYONE MAKE FUN OF ANOTHER STUDENT’S WORK. In science, it is important that you get over your fear of being wrong. This can only happen in an academically-safe environment.
 
3. There will be a review before every test. Missing the review does not excuse you from taking the test if you had prior knowledge of the test.
 
4. Do not use ink for any assignment. 
 
5. Take care of personal matters on your own time. Do not ask to leave the room during class. If you must leave, you will be required to make up the missed class time during lunch. This will be a minimum of 10 minutes.
 
6. Show your work. I want to know how you got an answer as much as what you got for an answer.
 
7. No phones during class discussion. You may use your phone after we are finished discussing the day’s material as long as this does not interfere with your ability to finish assignments.
 
8. You are expected to remain in your assigned seat for the entire class period.
 
9. No eating or drinking in class.
